Swedish Massage is the favorite, most comfortable, relaxing style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of soothing strokes to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility. You can't beat a full body massage. Excellent for your first experience!

Neural Reset Therapy (NRT)
Effective, fully clothed, no lotion. Amazing! Muscles are controlled by the nervous system. Proper application of NRT to the nerve receptors that interpret pressure, vibration, stretch, and other forces resets the nervous system. The following conditions either greatly improve or disappear: neck and back pain, headaches/migraines, carpal tunnel, TMJ, golf/tennis elbow, persistent pain lasting long after an injury, and rotator cuff pain, among many. The best technique I've learned in 24 years. Recommended by doctors, chiropractors and PTs. Having attained a Master Cerfification in Neural Reset Therapy, ask for Joan!
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage ranks high in popularity to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. It may be combined with some swedish, relaxing strokes. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial. Keep in mind that it is possible to experience soreness after the treatment, and that you should drink plenty of water to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Reflexology focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet. Unlike other foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into the feet. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, anxiety and depression. For those of you that hurt everywhere, this is a great treatment to start with. A foot buff and aromatic lotions may be included.
